After 2 years this squirrel continues to visit the woman who rescued him as a puppy

A free squirrel continues to visit, after two years, the woman who saved him when he was just a puppy

He is about to end up run over, his mother saves him

Although he is now free, the squirrel you see in the photo often visits the woman who rescued him when he was just a puppy.

This story started on February 25, 2019. Jessica Adams was walking with her son like every day on her way home from school when she suddenly noticed a small pink spot on the sidewalk. Approaching, mother and son discovered that it was a newborn squirrel who, no one knows why, was there alone and in danger of dying.

Unable to find the little squirrel's mom, who had probably fallen out of her nest after a storm or due to a predator, Jessica didn't hesitate for a moment and decided to take him home to take care of him and save his life.

The woman asked for help from an animal rescue center which, however, could not accommodate him and so she herself fed him every two hours with a pipette, even during the night. Thanks to her love for her and her commitment, Jessica was able to gain weight and raise the squirrel that she and her family chose to call Steve.

As soon as Steve regained his strength, the woman let him go out into the garden so that he could learn to climb trees and resume his wild life in complete freedom.

And that's where the surprise came. Although the squirrel is now free, he often returns to visit the woman who saved him, recognizing hers as her human family.

The sweet photos of Steve as a child and then more grown up are all enclosed in an Instagram profile dedicated to him.

“I think he's happy, he has a family. He still looks at me curious as if she remembers everything but doesn't get caught anymore, a healthy fear of humans is fine because she keeps him safe as not everyone is friendly. He comes to visit us often and is quite easy to identify because he is missing half of the tail "
