It could be your dream job. Move to the Bahamas to take care of the pink flamingos. This is not a joke but a real proposal that comes from the Baha Mar.

We are in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. Here the Baha Mar is looking for a specific professional figure able to take care of these beautiful animals: he is the Chief Flamingo Officer, CFO, a zoologist with experience with exotic birds in the context of an important project called BEACH sanctuary, Bahamar Ecological, Aquatic Conservation Habitat, designed for the protection and conservation of these animals.

It is therefore looking for an expert who can take care of the flamingos that come in spring every year.

The selected figure will work alongside scientist Vanessa Haley-Benjamin, who manages the Baha Mar Ecological, Aquatic Conservation Habitat Sanctuary at the resort, dedicated to conservation and protection of the wildlife of the Bahamas.

Some nurse sharks and several sea turtles already live in the sanctuary. The goal of the sanctuary is to preserve and protect the fauna of the islands.

The Baha Mar Explorer’s Kids Club provides an ocean-full of learning activities and experiences in true Bahamian style.
