A heart-shaped cloud of ash comes out of Etna

It almost seems like a message of encouragement what Etna has sent in recent days. On its summit, a strange dark cloud suddenly appeared that left those lucky enough to admire it speechless: it was heart-shaped.

The Sicilian volcano never ceases to offer spectacle and even emotion. The new photo, which is making the rounds of social media, was taken two days ago by a young man from Catania, Davide Distefano, at Monte Zoccolaro.

The boy had gone out for a walk after weeks of confinement due to the coronavirus when he suddenly noticed a strange puff of ash, shaped like a heart.

"Not bad as a start" was the comment of the author of the photo, Davide Distefano:
