In a recent interview, during the'Hay Festival and in her book “Happyness by Design”, Dolan dealt with the theme of happiness and revealed the 5 rules that can help us feel happier already starting from this moment.

Dolan is a professor of behavioral sciences at the London School of Economics. According to him, we can achieve happiness by following very simple steps. These are really basic indications, but how many of us really put them into practice, every day and with the intent of improving our own lives and that of others?

Listen to your favorite song

The expert recommends listen to the songs and music you like moreover. Music has an important effect on our mood and literally makes the brain "light up". There is no more powerful stimulus than music to awaken our brains.

Spend at least five minutes with someone you like

If you have a moment of the day that allows you to spend time with others, choose to spend it with someone you particularly like. There company of like-minded people it will help you feel better right away.

Having new experiences is really important, because, in Dolan's opinion, it helps us to slow down and to find time to devote to something that we may have at heart for some time but that we continue to leave out due to daily commitments.


Finally, we must not forget to try to make our life easier and to think about what makes us really happy in order to change the environment in which we live in this sense, so that we can concretely realize what we dream or that can simply make us feel better.
