The little boy lost his legs following an infection and is now walking again thanks to the prostheses obtained with a fundraiser

Little William was hospitalized earlier this year after showing rashes, fever and vomiting. His parents initially did not understand what he had but, once he visited the hospital, he was diagnosed with sepsis which forced him into intensive care for three months.
William survived by a miracle, but doctors had to save him amputate both legs. Once healed, the little one could only crawl, but today he can already move his own first steps in autonomy thanks to the prostheses received in May thanks to the many donations.
“When your baby takes his first steps it's magical, but when he has to learn a second time, after months of watching his pain, fear, frustration, hard work and determination, the pride we feel is something. other, ”said William's mother, Gemma.
In just three months, the little one has learned to stand and walk and has already got used to his new way of moving and living. His parents, moved by their son's resilience, shared an exciting online video in which William walks alone for the first time, joining his grandmother Trish who encourages him.
The child's parents also launched a crowdfunding campaign on Justgiving.com to allow William to walk again. Thanks to the funds raised, it was also possible to purchase a particular automated chair called Tinytrax which is making many children smile again:
