The fight in defense of the slaughter animals, with the hope of improving the often tragic conditions in which they are forced to spend their last hours of life. On Change.org a new one is born petition to say stop the transport of live animals.

The petition comes from the United Kingdom, from an initiative by Linda Firmani, but concerns a situation that unites animals for slaughter all over the world. Linda in particular remembers that every year millions of animals such as cows, sheep and pigs are transported in confined spaces aboard container ships, trucks and trains for very long journeys, which can take up to three weeks.

Many of these animals become ill or exhausted at the end of the journey as they are left behind without food and without water for a long time or with insufficient resources available to survive.

Most of these animals do not even have the space to move their heads, as they find themselves huddled together without the slightest living space. In particular, the author of the petition refers to a large one ship stranded off the coast of Perth with oltre 13 mila animali lived on board. Da poche ore the ship, stuck in the sea since last December 31, it has left, but in the meantime at least 30 of the animals that were on board died for starvation.

The tragic journeys of animals transported to slaughterhouses are described as the unbearable prelude to one tragic agony which will then see them go towards death and slaughter. Some of these animals are at risk of further torture with tugs, sticks, knives and other weapons.

The petition specifically addresses the United States Department of Agriculture, the Australian Department of Agriculture, the European Commission, To PETA, the Department of Environment and Rural Affairs and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
