LIFE managed to negotiate the closure of the farm with the farmer and is now working to find shelter and veterinary care for the 40 survivors.

LIFE president In-Seob Sim said that unfortunately similar farms are widespread in South Korea, also because there are few controls. And that to stop this clandestine market, it is essential that citizens do not buy dog meat and pet puppies.

Nara Kim, head of the HSI campaign, said the farm was like hell, with plenty of skinny dogs ravaged by hunger and skin diseases, with bones that seemed about to break at any moment.

Luckily now the hell is over!
