We take short showers and turn off the running water when it's not needed.

Hair removal

Shaving in the shower with a razor is a convenience. Ideally it allows us to save time, but it could lead to a real one waste of precious water. Let's give up the habit of shaving by letting the shower water run without thinking too much about it. We can simply moisten and lather the skin before passing the razor, keeping a small glass of water next to it to dip it into to rinse it.

Form

Let's not forget to choose the most durable sponges and with a lower environmental impact when we take a shower. Natural sponges can be of animal origin. We check the packaging carefully before purchasing. Synthetic sponges are likely to be damaged easily and then they will have to be thrown into the unsorted waste. One of the most lasting choices is represented by terry gloves, made with the same fabric as the towels. They do not get damaged, dry quickly and really last for many years.

Too hot water

Who doesn't love hot showers, especially in winter? Be careful though. The water in the shower must not be too hot so as not to create problems for the circulation and not to cause pressure drops. Also, water that is too hot is not beneficial for those with it very sensitive skin or for those suffering from eczema. Because of the heat, the skin can easily become irritated and red. Better a lukewarm shower, without forgetting the positive effects of one cold shower.

The application of the scrub can take place as soon as you enter the shower, before you start washing. Lightly moisten the skin of the face and body and apply the scrub. Finally, massage and rinse. Towels

When drying, always proceed gently. While you may be able to wash quickly to save water, you can dedicate to yours skin all the time necessary to dry it carefully. Do not rub it, but dab it gently with thetowel, massage it and remember to always treat your body with the utmost sweetness. You will feel much more relaxed.
