They also stressed theeducational aspect of zero-kilometer markets. Especially younger consumers will be able to get to know, thanks to them, local and seasonal products. These are knowledge that are by no means taken for granted nowadays.

    The initiative promotes local economic development andsolidarity economy, as well as encouragingcity ​​agriculture. Producers will have to provide buyers with precise information on price and provenance really at zero kilometers of food. You will be required to reduce packaging used for the eventual packaging of goods, or to resort to alternatives with low environmental impact.
