Section C Row 18 Seat 14

As the finals fo the CWS kickoff tonight, it is time for another entry. For the second year in a row, I journeyed to Omaha to visit a friend and take in some of the College World Series. Eight teams were alive and chomping at the bit; Florida State/Stanford, Miami/Georgia, Fresno State/Rice and LSU/North Carolina. We attended the Day One games and watched Stanford upset #5 Florida State and Georgia upset #1 Miami and their five draft picks. If you have not been to the CWS you should really consider making the trip to Omaha. You won't be sorry.

Venerable old Rosenblatt Stadium. Plans have been annouced for a new downtown stadium with Omaha hosting the CWS for another 30 years. Make the trip to Rosenblatt while you still can.
