Aisle 205 Row 8 Seat 104

Join us for a little pre-game festivities at Murphy's Bleachers.

Sitting in Section 205 today. Good location and sheltered under the roof in case of rain.

What's Miller Lite have on tap today on the right field billboard. Gotta say, one of the weaker efforts.

Some fans are still keeping the faith and donning the rally cap after the score was tied up at 3-3.

Lou Pinella decides to do his best impersonation of Michael Flatley as he Riverdances his way to kicking dirt on the 3rd base umpire and earning an ejection (and a four game suspension).

Lou generally making an ass of himself, although he did get four kicks of his hat in, which qualifies as the only hat trick you will see in town with the decline of the Blackhawks.

The bleacher crowd voices their displeasure. Stay classy Chicago and enjoy your travel mug giveaway ina responsible adult manner.

World's deadliest jobs, Wrigley Field groundskeeper on Travel Mug giveaway day during a Lou Pinella meltdown. These guys should have been wearing batting helmets for al the debris they were getting pelted with.

Between the pitcher/catcher Battle Royale on Friday, Pinella's meltdown on a correct call and ejection on Saturday and and the classless display put on by the bleacher crowd on Saturday, I would say the Cubs are close to hitting rock bottom and being the laughing stock of Major League Baseball. $300 million doesn't go as far as it once did. While I found the meltdown humorous in a really sad way, I found it even more sad that the loudest roar I have heard out of a Wrigley crowd in the last three years and 30+ games was for a manger getting kicked out of a game while acting like a complete buffoon. At least they are still selling the party atmosphere and lots of beer.

Great photos KJM. Too bad the circumstances. Cubs are definitely floundering without a team identity... and many more lowlights than high.
